Airflow for a covered work area

Scenario

A crew needs air movement in a loading area or covered staging space.

The deep dive

How we run equipment rentals.

Bring your equipment rental request to SolidSite and keep your site services with one contact. Tell us the job, dates and delivery address; we confirm a suitable option and written rental terms before you book. Ask about jobsite equipment, light towers, pumps, portable fans and temporary air conditioning. Available models and capacities vary by location and date. For cooling and airflow, provide space dimensions, indoor or outdoor use and available power; for pumping or other equipment, provide the required capacity and operating conditions. Your written quote identifies the unit, rental period, included operating hours, delivery, pickup, deposits and any applicable fuel, damage, cleaning, tax or overtime charges. Operators, installation and accessories are only included when stated. Contact SolidSite before the return deadline to request an extension or off-rent pickup.
Choose the equipment for the job

Cooling, airflow, lighting and pumping rentals

Start with the task, not a model number. SolidSite reviews your operating conditions and confirms an equipment option, accessories and transport in writing. Available units vary by location and date.

  • Portable AC and spot cooling: request temporary cooling for work areas, facilities or events. Share the space size, heat sources, power supply and where exhaust or condensate can be routed.
  • Portable fans and evaporative coolers: request airflow for work areas or covered outdoor spaces. Tell us whether the space is open or enclosed and whether water and power are available; fans, evaporative coolers and air conditioners are not interchangeable.
  • Light towers and work lighting: request lighting for early starts, evening work or temporary staging areas. Share the area layout, operating hours, access and power availability.
  • Pumps and dewatering equipment: describe the water or material being moved, required flow, lift height, hose distance and discharge location so the setup can be reviewed.
  • Other jobsite equipment: send the task, required capacity and access restrictions. We will confirm whether we can supply an appropriate unit before accepting the rental.

Equipment Rentals FAQ

Questions we get from Houston, Fort Bend, and RGV crews about equipment rentals.

What equipment can I request?
Ask SolidSite about jobsite equipment, light towers, pumps, fans and temporary cooling. We confirm the model and availability for your location and dates.
Are delivery and pickup included?
Your written quote states transport charges, rental dates and additional fees. Nothing is assumed included unless listed.
Can I extend a rental?
Request the extension before the return deadline. Availability and additional rental charges need confirmation.
What do you need to prepare an equipment rental quote?
Send the jobsite address or ZIP, start and end dates, task, required capacity, daily operating hours and site contact. Photos, dimensions, power details and delivery-access restrictions help us review the request without extra calls.
Can I rent for a day, a week or longer?
Tell us the exact dates and expected operating hours. We confirm the available rental period, minimum charge, included hours and any excess-use charges for the selected unit. A calendar day and an operating-hour allowance are not necessarily the same.
Are a swamp cooler and a portable AC the same thing?
No. An evaporative cooler uses water and airflow, while a portable air conditioner uses a refrigeration system and needs suitable heat-exhaust arrangements. Tell us the space conditions, ventilation, water and power availability so the appropriate option can be reviewed.
Are hoses, cables, setup or an operator included?
Only items listed in your quote are included. Request hoses, fittings, ducting, cables, setup or operator services up front. Some equipment requires qualified personnel for installation or operation.
How does pickup and off-rent work?
Contact SolidSite to request pickup and get confirmation of the off-rent date under your agreement. Simply stopping use does not automatically end billing. Keep the unit accessible and follow the agreed return condition, fuel and cleaning requirements.
Can you deliver around Greater Houston?
Send the exact delivery ZIP and site address. We check equipment availability, transport charges, access and a delivery window for each location before confirming the booking.
