What "same-day" actually means here
Order by about 10 a.m. and we aim to have it on your Greater Houston jobsite the same day — a dumpster, a restroom, fence, or a diesel fill. That's the norm, not a contractual guarantee: dispatch confirms the window when you call, because route density and material availability on any given morning are real. What makes it work isn't a fleet of idle trucks — it's coordination.
One dispatcher, not a phone tree
The reason same-day breaks at most vendors is the hand-off. You call an 800 number, explain the job, get routed, get put on hold, and the person who finally answers can't actually move a truck. SolidSite runs one point of contact who owns your account across every service. Text the site and the size; the person who reads it can act on it. No re-briefing, no queue.
How an order moves
- You call or text — site address, what you need, when.
- Dispatch confirms availability and the window against the day's routes, and quotes you (fees on the quote up front, no surprise surcharges).
- We coordinate the drop through the right licensed hauler, sub, or fuel truck for that service and zone.
- Photo proof lands — every drop, pickup, service, and fill is documented with a timestamped photo (fuel gets a signed, metered ticket). That's your record and ours.
- It's on one invoice — every service, every site, billed together; net-30 for qualified accounts.
The mid-job swap
Same-day matters most when something changes. A full box on a Wednesday, a crew that doubled and needs two more restrooms, a fence segment that has to move — one text to the same dispatcher starts a fast swap or add across most of Greater Houston, so the crew never stops working.
Where honest same-day ends
We'd rather tell you straight than overpromise:
- The RGV/McAllen runs on scheduled routes, not Houston-style same-day — dispatch gives you the real next-window.
- After-hours and emergencies (storm fuel, a down generator) are handled on a best-effort basis at a premium — we can't promise a fixed arrival clock, and we won't pretend to.
- Bulk fuel, gasoline, and specialty loads route through licensed HAZMAT partners, which can add lead time versus an in-zone diesel fill.
- Outside Greater Houston + RGV — we don't serve Austin or statewide, and we'll say so rather than string you along.
