How it works

From call to crew in 4 steps.

  1. 01

    Set Up the Account

15 min: signed fuel-supply agreement + fuel-type declaration (clear vs. off-road) so tickets and taxes are clean.

  2. 02

    Pick Your Cadence

Keep-full / scheduled top-offs for active sites; monthly for stored gensets; or one-time and emergency fills on demand.

  3. 03

    Metered On-Site Fill

Driver meters each fill, tags the equipment or tank, and you sign the pump-meter ticket — copy in hand and emailed.

  4. 04

    One Invoice

Every fill across every site on one monthly invoice, itemized by equipment/tank for job costing. Net terms for qualified accounts.

The deep dive

How we run fuel.

Stop sending crews and drivers off-site to fuel up. SolidSite delivers diesel where the work is — to excavators and dozers on a pad, to the pickup fleet in the yard, to the 250/500-gallon tank by the office trailer, to a standby generator between run-tests, or to temporary power at an event. We handle clear diesel (on-road equipment and vehicles) and off-road dyed diesel (non-highway equipment, tax-exempt), plus DEF. Need gasoline or a bulk specialty load? We set it up through a licensed, HAZMAT-certified fuel partner — same ticket, same invoice. Most accounts buy on a schedule — a weekly or bi-weekly keep-full for an active jobsite, a monthly top-off for a stored generator — so you never think about it and never run a machine dry. One-time and after-hours fills are available too; emergency fills run at a premium and arrival is best-effort, not a guaranteed clock. Every fill is metered and ticketed on the spot — you sign the pump-meter slip and get a copy in hand and by email. That's your job-costing record and our proof of delivery. No "trust us" gallons, no GPS gimmicks — a signed number you can reconcile. Insured; spill kit on every delivery.
Generator fuel care · best-effort

Keep the Genset Ready — SolidSite Tank Watch Fuel Care

Standby generators fail most often not from the engine but from the fuel — water, sediment, microbial growth, and aged diesel sitting in a tank for months. SolidSite Tank Watch is a simple, best-effort program to keep your standby fuel in usable shape. It's a maintenance-and-access program, not a performance guarantee and not an SLA — we don't certify fuel quality; we keep it topped, checked, and filtered on a schedule so you're far less likely to be caught out. For hospital- or data-center-grade contractual uptime SLAs, we'll tell you straight that a dedicated asset-owning fuel provider is the better fit — and we can still handle your restrooms, dumpsters, and fence.

  • Scheduled top-offs so the tank stays full and ready
  • Periodic fuel check — visual water/sediment check and a sample when warranted
  • Fuel polishing / filtering on qualifying tanks (partner-performed on larger tanks) to pull water and sediment
  • Best-effort emergency access during outages — priority call handling, not a guaranteed arrival time

Fuel FAQ

Questions we get from Houston, Fort Bend, and RGV crews about on-site fuel delivery.

Do you deliver diesel to my jobsite the same day?
In Greater Houston, yes — order by about 10 AM and we aim for same-day delivery. It's the norm, not a contractual guarantee; dispatch confirms the window when you call.
Clear vs. off-road (dyed) diesel — which do I need?
Clear diesel for anything that drives on public roads; off-road dyed diesel (tax-exempt) for non-highway equipment and generators. We confirm your application at setup.
Can you keep my tank or generator full on a schedule?
Yes — keep-full and scheduled top-off programs are how most accounts buy. Weekly/bi-weekly for active sites, monthly for stored gensets.
Do you provide DEF?
Yes, DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) delivered alongside diesel.
What about gasoline or a large bulk load?
We arrange those through licensed, HAZMAT-certified fuel partners — same ticket, same invoice. SolidSite self-delivers diesel only.
How do I know I got the gallons I paid for?
Every fill is metered and you sign the pump-meter ticket on the spot — copy in hand and emailed. That's the record for both of us. No GPS estimates.
Can you rent me a tank?
Yes — 250 or 500-gallon on-site tanks with a pump are available on a monthly rental.
Do you do after-hours / emergency fills?
Yes, on a best-effort basis at a premium rate — good for storm outages and down machines. We can't promise a fixed arrival clock.
Do you cover the Rio Grande Valley?
Yes — Greater Houston and the RGV/McAllen area. We don't serve Austin or statewide.
Is Tank Watch a guaranteed-uptime contract?
No. It's scheduled top-offs, periodic fuel checks/polishing, and best-effort emergency access — a big risk-reducer, not a guarantee.
Does Tank Watch certify my fuel quality?
No. We keep the tank full, check for water/sediment, and filter on qualifying tanks. We don't issue fuel-quality certifications.
Can you guarantee you'll get to me during a hurricane?
No one honestly can at our scale. We prioritize Tank Watch accounts on a best-effort basis; we won't promise a storm-priority clock we can't hold.
